A little trick I found in a Dubstep tutorial on YouTube once and have been using ever since. Made in all Ableton stock plugins and must be able to recreate easily in other daws aswell. The standard EQ Three has a bit crossover on the filters which could lead to phasing problems especially in the lowend for which I wanted to use it, by filtering the lowend with a simple lowpass and the highend with a highpass you take both these filters and switch the polarity against the pure signal for the exact mid frequencys that you want to keep

A bass mono summingtool you can trust :)
Most people know stereo in the bass freqs is no good, because the waves are long they don’t add well together, most of the time there is two speakers and 1 sub so stereo is going to be summed and if the frequency’s are doing different stuff (stereostuff) it’s not gonna add well. Ableton has added a bass mono function in the utility but it still didn’t do what i wanted, thats why i came up with this lil trick and it does wonders for me :) hope for u too! Made in all Ableton stock plugins and must be able to recreate easily in other daws aswell.
